I never knew the Japanese knew about the first XBOX.

As you can clearly see below, there is a mock up of the original XBOX “ZBOX”. What I find interesting is that someone in Japan knew about the first XBOX, and actually included it in a cartoon. This was taken from one of the ‘Educational’ books from my schools library. I didn’t bother getting the title or anything though.

UPDATE: Thanks to Brian Ashcraft (Kotaku) I now know the title; Kochikame

  3. The XBOX is also featured prominently enough playing Soul Calibur II in the Japanese film, Otakus in Love (Koi no Mon).

  8. Youre so right. Im there with you. Your weblog is definitely worth a read if anyone comes across it. Im fortunate I did due to the fact now Ive acquired a entire new view of this.
