Anyhoo, I just finished at my last school (Hanamigawadaini Junior High School), I’m gonna miss it alot. It was pretty cruisy compared to others, and the only crap thing was the hour commute to and from every day. Should really stick up some pictures, I have some of the students practicing making those human tower thingy’s for their upcoming sports day. I will probably go visit on Saturday and take some more pics. As usual, farewell gift from me was a Costco apple pie - ‘borrowed’ the idea from another A.L.T. Cheap as chips and is better than nothing.

Forgot to write about my credit cards last month. Turns out its not impossible to get them if you are a foreigner that has been in Japan less than a year. Funny thing is. I was applying for more than one at once, and after getting turned down for more than eight or so (managed to get 2000 yen for just applying for some) I got accepted. For three cards. So now I have three credit cards, and one E.T.C card.

For those of you who may be interested in applying, I went for the Keisei Card (UFJ), The J.R VIEW/SUICA (VIEW) and Amazon.co.jp (Citicards). Also, in the duration of residence in Japan section I put down a year (not quite a lie as most forms don’t ask how many months, just years)

First month with my new cards and I went overboard, 100,000 yen in a week - gotta stick the breaks on for two months now, ah well, you only live one, and dead men pay no debts.

Not content on not having online multiplayer, the motorstorm team have seem to have left out any multiplayer at all - so for all of you who were thinking about destroying each other, think again. Overall I think the game is good, not great, but my biggest problem is the insane loading times. There should have been the option to load the game data onto the hard drive, yet the only “settings” available are sound and controller. I think as this game lacks the ability to play other humans (for now) it will become rather boring - will have to wait and see.

On another note - Here is a kid at my school having fun cleaning the toilet! Just for a laugh I told him I would stick it on my blog so here he is. Oh, I gave him a black eye so his identity would remain secret - just like superman.

Had two classes by myself again, kids are pretty damn noisy, but as they were second years they weren’t as bad as the third year lot I had by myself my first day at this school. Managed to pass the time playing the line game and my version of shiritori. Worked out quite well, cause playing games for an hour is more fun than reading from a book.

Ive been sick for a week (cold + bronchitis) and took my first sick day yesterday. Today the ichinen-sei had a field trip to Sakura and Narita, I tagged along and went to see some sights. First off was Sakura where we went to see some old houses, and the National Museum of Japanese History (Alot of interesting items inside!). After that we headed to Narita to look at some shrines and temples. I got shouted lunch (thanks kocho-sensei!) which was some chicken rice thing. After that, all the teachers got together to have their lunch and i got to eat again. This time I tried some eel. Now, I kinda liked the taste of eel, but I just cant handle eating bones, I feel like puking every time, making the nice taste of the eel less enjoyable. Take today at the school music festival. We had English speech’s, band performances and singing - took the whole day. Still all cellphone quality video, but its good enough.
